The Private Marmara Pathology Laboratory was founded in 1996 in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul by Marmara University faculty member Prof. Dr. Sevgi Küllü. Ownership of the laboratory was taken over by Vision Diagnosis and Treatment Support Services Ltd. in August 2017.

Since its founding, it has continued to provide pathology laboratory services with its expert staff and technical personnel possessing academic experience. It also contributes to academic educational activities.

Our laboratory performs routine histopathology and cytopathology examinations, immunohistochemistry and conventional histochemistry, molecular pathology, and intraoperative (frozen) consultation services. We also provide services in specialized pathology areas requiring experience and consultation pathology, as well as those requiring multiple pathologists. We currently provide support for pathology examinations and training to numerous university hospitals, public hospitals, private hospitals, medical centers, and private practices.

R&D studies on technological equipment, methods and medical supplies used in the pathology laboratory are among the activities currently carried out in our laboratory.

Keeping pace with the rapid developments in medical science in recent years and accessing the vast knowledge in the field of pathology requires teamwork. With this in mind, Private Marmara Pathology Laboratory has been working with an experienced and professional team since its founding. Accreditation and quality are essential requirements for medical laboratories. Therefore, our laboratory prioritizes quality and accreditation. Guided by ISO 15189 standards, our laboratory has organized all of its laboratory processes accordingly.
